Arsenal are set to intensify their pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, with Italian journalist Ciro Venerato reporting a bid is coming “in the next few days.”
The Gunners are determined to land a top-tier center-forward to bolster their title-chasing squad. Having missed out on Benjamin Sesko, who opted to stay at Leipzig, Arsenal are turning their attention to Osimhen.
Venerato suggests Arsenal will offer a lower sum than Osimhen’s release clause, forcing Napoli to weigh the financial advantage against keeping their star striker.
Osimhen himself has openly expressed his desire for a new challenge and a dream of playing in the Premier League. At 25, he’s entering his peak years and coming off a phenomenal season, having fired Napoli to their first Serie A title in over three decades with a staggering 26 league goals.
