Arike Ogunbowale scored 19 points to help propel the Dallas Wings to their first win of the 2025 WNBA season, defeating the Connecticut Sun 109–87 at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for the Wings, while the Sun were handed their fifth consecutive loss and remain winless this season.
Top overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Paige Bueckers, led the way for Dallas with 21 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Ogunbowale added 19 points along with four assists and three rebounds in the milestone victory, her 200th professional game.

DiJonai Carrington contributed 16 points, Madison Siegrist added 12, and Kaila Charles chipped in 10 to round out a balanced offensive effort for the Wings.
Veteran center Tina Charles poured in a game-high 27 points for the Sun, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. Marina Mabrey scored 19 points, and Bria Hartley added 12 in the losing effort.
Next up, Ogunbowale, Bueckers, and the Wings face the Chicago Sky, who are also searching for their first win after dropping their first four games of the season.
