Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have stepped up their pursuit of Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, submitting an official offer to Napoli worth €65 million, with an additional €5 million in potential add-ons.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who revealed the news on his official X account, Al Hilal’s bid to Napoli comes amid continued talks with Victor Osimhen’s camp as the club works to finalise personal terms with the striker.
Osimhen is one of three high-profile targets Al Hilal are hoping to sign ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup. The club is also in discussions to bring in Atalanta’s Brazilian midfielder Ederson and AC Milan fullback Theo Hernandez, following Bruno Fernandes’ decision to remain at Manchester United.
New head coach Simone Inzaghi has reportedly given his approval for the move, and according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Al Hilal have tabled a lucrative offer worth €30 million per season in a bid to lure the Super Eagles star to Riyadh.

Meanwhile, Premier League side Manchester United remain keen on Osimhen but may struggle to match Al Hilal’s financial proposal due to the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), which restrict excessive spending.
Galatasaray, where Osimhen played on loan last season, are also making efforts to retain the striker. The Turkish champions have offered a €15 million annual salary following his key role in securing their 25th Süper Lig title and their first Turkish Super Cup triumph since 2019.

A decision regarding Osimhen’s future is expected in the coming days, with Galatasaray pushing for a swift resolution. Al Hilal, on the other hand, are racing against time to finalize the deal before the Club World Cup kicks off on June 15.
Al Hilal’s Club World Cup journey begins with a blockbuster showdown against Real Madrid. They will then face Austrian side Salzburg before concluding their group stage campaign against Mexican outfit Pachuca on June 27.
