Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal are set to make another attempt to reach an agreement on personal terms with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Riyadh-based club previously tabled a staggering €45 million per year offer in a bid to lure the Nigerian striker ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup. However, Osimhen turned down the deal, opting instead to remain in Europe as he carefully considers his next career move.
Speaking via his official YouTube channel, Fabrizio disclosed that Al Hilal remain undeterred in their pursuit of the Nigerian international. The club believe that their financial proposal places them in a more advantageous position than European teams, and they have reportedly reached an agreement with Napoli to activate Osimhen’s release clause.

Nonetheless, Al Hilal will be in a crowded race for the 25-year-old’s signature, with eight European heavyweights also monitoring his situation, setting the scene for an intense transfer battle.
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Galatasaray, AC Milan, Juventus, and Arsenal have all shown varying levels of interest ahead of the summer transfer window reopening on Monday, June 16.
The Saudi giants are expected to intensify their pursuit of Osimhen should they secure qualification for the knockout rounds of the Club World Cup as the striker could still be registered in time for that stage if a deal is finalised.
Al Hilal will kick off their Club World Cup campaign on Wednesday, June 18, with a highly anticipated fixture against Real Madrid. They will then face Salzburg on June 22, before concluding their group-stage schedule with a matchup against Mexican side Pachuca on June 27.
