Ademola Lookman continues his red-hot form, scoring his 10th Serie A goal of the season in Atalanta’s dominant 3-0 win over Torino. This marks the second consecutive season where Lookman has reached double digits in league goals.

Ademola Lookman doubled Atalanta’s lead in the 43rd minute, adding to Gianluca Scamacca’s opener. Mario Pašalić sealed the win from the penalty spot in the second half.

Since joining Atalanta in 2022, Lookman has become a key player. Last season, he impressed with 13 league goals in 31 games. This year, he’s surpassed that tally with 10 goals in just 30 Serie A appearances. Lookman’s scoring prowess extends beyond the league, with a total of 17 goals in 44 games across all competitions, including 5 in the Europa League and 1 in the Coppa Italia.

His contributions extend further, with a total of 24 goal involvements this season.

This victory wasn’t the only milestone for Atalanta. According to Optapaolo, a respected football statistics platform, this is the first time in Serie A history that Atalanta has had four players with at least 10 league goals in a single season: Lookman (10), Scamacca (12), Teun Koopmeiners (12), and Charles De Ketelaere (10).

Lookman further cemented his hero status by leading Atalanta to Europa League glory with a thrilling 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen just days earlier.
