Serie A giants AC Milan have entered the race to sign Super Eagles forward Tolu Arokodare from Belgian side KRC Genk, Bold Sports reports.
The Nigerian international is reportedly one of the top targets identified by sporting director Igi Tare as part of Milan’s attacking reinforcement plans ahead of the 2025/26 season.
However, the Rossoneri will need to offload a few players to fund new signings under returning manager Massimiliano Allegri. Among those on the exit list is Belgian striker Divock Origi, who has failed to make an impact since joining on a free transfer in 2022. Arokodare is currently valued at €18 million by respected football statistics website, Transfermarkt.
According to leading Italian outlet Tuttosport per Footballitalia, Milan have set their sights on Arokodare and are prepared to push hard for his signature. The 24-year-old forward, who has also drawn interest from Manchester United and several Turkish Super Lig clubs, is one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe at the moment.

Arokodare had a breakout 2024/25 campaign with Genk, netting 23 goals and providing seven assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.
His standout performances at club level have also earned him a place in the Nigerian national team, where he has scored once in four appearances.
Reacting to transfer speculation linking him with a move to Old Trafford, Arokodare said in a recent interview said, “I’m a Manchester United fan, and if it happens, it would mean a lot to me and my family. Of course, it would be a dream come true.”
